Dr. Steinbachs’ Credentials

Perimenopause & Menopause Doctor (PhD, ND, DOMPT)

Board-Certified Traditional Naturopath and Perpetual Field Student

I didn’t set out to become a naturopath. I set out to find patterns — first in genomes, then in bodies. Most practitioners train on one side of the medicine divide, conventional or alternative, rarely both at research-level rigor. I trained on both, deliberately: a PhD taught me to find the signal in scattered data before I ever touched clinical work, and that’s the same instinct that now reads your symptoms as a system talking, not a list of isolated complaints. The naturopathic and osteopathic training layered structural assessment and terrain-level thinking on top of that — diagnostic rigor and hands-on pattern-reading aren’t two different skills here, they’re the same one, aimed at different data.

The shorthand you’ll see elsewhere — PhD, ND, DOMPT — maps directly to what’s below. The Ph.D. is the academic foundation. ND reflects certification as a Traditional Naturopath. DOMPT is the Diplomate in Osteopathic Manipulative Theory and Practice — the hands-on structural training. Everything under Apprenticeships and Advanced Courses is ongoing; this isn’t a credential I earned once and stopped.

Done Functioning at a Cost?

Most of the women I work with aren't falling apart. They're functioning — but at a cost that shouldn't be this high. When the pattern becomes legible, the next move gets obvious fast. Want to know what a session actually looks like? Here's the breakdown.
