What do you charge for your services?

Your first consult with me includes a free 30 minute session.
Future sessions are typically an hour and follow my fee schedule.

Do you sell dried herbs, herbal tinctures, or nutritional products?

When I do sell products, I only sell them to current clients as part of their Wellness Protocol. I am just not equipped with the inventory or staff to also be an herb store.

Do you accept insurance?

As an unlicensed practitioner in the state of Idaho, I am not eligible to participate in insurance programs. A consequence, though, is that I am able to provide you with truly individualized care, rather than the standardized care that insurance often requires.

Do you make house calls?

I am willing to consider house calls on a case-by-case basis. There will be an additional charge for travel time, due at the time of the visit. If you find you need such a visit, please contact me and we can arrange something that works for both of us.

Do you offer private sessions away from your Sandpoint, ID location (e.g., at a location in another state)?

I would be willing to consider offering private sessions elsewhere. However, there would need to be a primary point of contact who would identify an adequate number of clients, appropriate space, and who could organize the whole gathering. If you would like to arrange such a visit, please contact me and we can see what can be arranged.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because of the session time slot you reserved that other clients could have used, my policy is to charge a late cancellation fee equal to the deposit you make at the time of scheduling if less than 24 hours notice is provided. I do allow for some exceptions – birth, death, and child illnesses, for example.

What is integrative bodywork?

Integrative bodywork is a gentle routine applied to your body while you lie fully clothed on a table. I often liken it to assisted yoga on a table. You can read more about how it compares to physical therapy and chiropractic sessions here.

What type of payment do you accept?

I accept payment at the time of service, including cash, check or credit/debit card (I use the Square payment processing service). You might also be able to use your HSA card, however, it is your responsibility to know what your HSA plan considers as a permissible expense. For the occasional product you might purchase during an in-office session, I accept cash, check or credit card.

Can I call you and schedule a session over the phone?

Absolutely! When you call my number, you will most likely need to leave a voicemail. I usually return calls within 24-48 hours.

Are you regulated by HIPAA?

I do not do electronic billing through insurance, so I am exempt from HIPAA regulations. For the moment, I rely on email for much of our interactions. We would not be able to use this means of communication if HIPAA applied to my work. I email your recommendations (also forbidden under HIPAA) but, if you desire, I can offer you a hard copy, either via mail or for you to pick up at the office.

Are our sessions confidential?

Absolutely. Occasionally with permission, I will write case stories about clients for posting in various online locations (this website, social media, etc.), but I never refer to clients by name and take great care in anonymizing the case data so that it is generic. Even when soliciting input from colleagues, I do not give out client names.

Do you offer refunds?

I do not offer refunds once you have come in for a session. Please note however your first session with me will be 30 minutes and completely free.

What is your privacy policy?

I will not share your information with another practitioner (without your express permission) or a sales representative of any kind. I do not, however, control the information you share with 3rd party payment companies (i.e., Square for payment processing).
