What Sessions Look Like
A clear, practical guide to how in-person and telehealth care work inside my nervous-system-first framework.
Two Ways to Work Together. One Nervous-System-First Method
Whether we meet in person or through telehealth, the goal is the same:
decode the pattern your body is running, interrupt what’s draining you, and give your physiology room to reorganize.
This page outlines what each format looks like so you can choose the session that fits your current capacity — not the one a protocol would prescribe.
This is orientation, not justification.
What Every Session Has in Common
All of my care — hands-on or remote — works through the same lens:
-
nervous-system literacy
-
pattern recognition
-
timing rhythms
-
metabolic and sensory load
-
terrain over symptom lists
-
clear next steps without overwhelm
There is no “standard protocol” because your system doesn’t run one.
What we do depends on what your body is actually signaling that day.
In-Person Sessions in Sandpoint, Idaho
What an in-person session looks like
These sessions focus on hands-on assessment and recalibration for women whose bodies are speaking loudly — aches, asymmetry, headaches, sensory tension, hip pain, ribcage restriction, or the classic “I just feel off.”
What actually happens:
-
structural listening (spine, pelvis, ribcage, gait)
-
cranial + sensory mapping (jaw, eyes, ears, face tension)
-
breath and diaphragm rhythm assessment
-
psoas, pelvic floor, and core sequencing
-
neuro-lymph drainage
-
manual vectors and release work (Liem, Wernham, PRRT-inspired patterns)
-
neurosensory drills when needed (ocular, vestibular, proprioceptive resets)
-
integration + pattern interpretation
What this is not
-
not massage
-
not chiropractic
-
not PT
-
not energy work (though yes, the system shifts on that level too)
Who this is best for
-
hips that won’t stop nagging
-
low-back/SI pain
-
headaches + neck tension
-
midlife aches with no imaging findings
-
sensory overload
-
jaw/tongue/facial tension
-
gait or posture that feels “off”
-
women who want both the pattern and the hands-on reset
Telehealth Sessions for Midlife Women
What telehealth looks like
These sessions focus on pattern decoding, timing analysis, and nervous-system regulation without the hands-on component.
Most women are shocked at how effective this is.
What actually happens:
-
symptom timing analysis (my specialty)
-
nervous-system load evaluation
-
circadian + metabolic mapping
-
hot-flash patterns and vasomotor interpretation
-
sleep architecture assessment
-
micro-exercises and self-releases
-
breath mechanics + regulation work
-
terrain-specific recommendations
-
clarity about “why this is happening now”
Who telehealth is best for
-
sleep disruption
-
3am furnace wake-ups
-
hot flashes
-
fatigue that feels hormonal but isn’t fully hormonal
-
stress overflow
-
brain fog
-
blood sugar instability
-
women who aren’t local
-
follow-ups after in-person recalibration
Which Session Should You Choose?
A simple Dr.-Jen decision guide.
Choose an in-person session if:
-
your body hurts
-
your head hurts
-
your hips or low back feel “stuck”
-
your jaw/eyes/face are tense
-
your gait feels off
-
you want immediate physical change
-
you want the deepest version of my assessment
Choose a telehealth session if:
-
your symptoms have a timing pattern
-
sleep is collapsing
-
hot flashes are escalating
-
your metabolism feels unstable
-
stress is running the show
-
you need clarity, not hands-on work
-
you’re not near Sandpoint
Where This Fits in the Care Path
Vital Signal Check → Vital Intensive → Pattern Mirror → Ongoing Recalibration
Each session type supports a different layer of your physiology.
You don’t have to know where you fit — that’s my job.
But now you know what each format actually looks like.
What Women Usually Notice After a Session
-
clearer head
-
less bracing
-
hip or ribcage ease
-
fewer headaches
-
more stable energy
-
deeper sleep
-
heat surges shift
-
“I finally understand what’s going on”
